We are hiring for an afternoon and weekend, part-time position. This is not a seasonal role; we're looking for someone dependable and long-term.
This is an entry-level position! No experience is required.
You'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our clients who visit the store. You will learn the science behind water testing and providing chemical recommendations to ensure the proper balance for a safe and sparkling pool and spa. What You'll Do
As a Pool Retail Sales Associate, you'll provide exceptional customer service while helping customers maintain beautiful, healthy swimming pools and spas.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and deliver an outstanding retail experience during every visit.
- Perform professional computerized water testing and explain results.
- Recommend pool chemicals, water treatment products, and maintenance solutions based on water test results.
- Educate customers on proper pool and spa care, equipment maintenance, and seasonal pool maintenance.
- Assist customers with selecting pool supplies, accessories, replacement parts, and equipment.
- Stock, organize, and merchandise retail inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail showroom.
- Help implement in-store promotions, merchandising displays, and seasonal campaigns.
- Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- No pool industry experience required—we'll train you!
- Previous retail, customer service, cashier, or sales experience preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping customers.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Comfortable learning technical information about pool and spa care.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Facebook or other social media platforms is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and occasional holidays.
